Why Netherlands?
A favorable Dutch tax system provides an opportunity for the efficient management of intellectual property rights as well as the optimization of generated royalties. The Netherlands tax regime is based on one simple rule: royalties paid and received by Dutch companies are exempt from taxation. Additionally, the Netherlands has concluded tax agreements with a majority of European countries thus creating a good base for tax planning and for the reduction, or even elimination, of taxation in situations concerning of the cross border flow of royalties.
